Ahoy there, John! Thanks so much for making a return trip to planDisney. I'm happy to help with your question so you can plan for a practically perfect vacation with
Disney Cruise Line!
How exciting that you’re thinking about sailing on the
Disney Treasure–this much-anticipated addition to the DCL fleet will begin its story in December. It has been so exciting seeing new updates on the Disney Cruise Line social media and I am sure you will have an amazing adventure on this state-of-the-art ship.
Traveling with adults means that you want to maximize your space as much as possible so everyone can get a good night’s sleep. The Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah sleeps 4 to 5 individuals, with a Queen-sized bed, a single convertible sofa, upper-berth single pull-down bed and single wall pull-down bed (for staterooms that sleep 5). The sofa bed measures 72 inches long–my girls have slept on this in the past and say it’s quite comfortable.
If you are able to book a stateroom that sleeps 5, the wall bed is also a good fit for a larger adult sailor. It doesn’t have the armrests like the sofa bed does, and the orientation in the room makes it a bit more accommodating.
John, a sailing on the Treasure is on my Disney must-do list! Be sure to catch the musical
Disney The Tale of Moana, and plan for a few trips on the AquaMouse, a new immersive water coaster featuring an all-new short film featuring Mickey and Minnie.
Thanks again for sailing on over to planDisney! I hope you are able to book the DCL adventure you’re hoping for, and that your family has a cruise packed with core memories, sunshine, and all of the Mickey-shaped treats you can eat. Please don't hesitate to reach out again if we can help with any additional questions before your sailing.
Bon Voyage!
Susan
