Hello, Anne! Welcome to planDisney. It's lovely to have you sail to us with a question.

I'm a big fan of runDisney too! I'm especially excited that races are returning to Disneyland Resort, and I look forward to lacing up my shoes and running the Castaway Cay 5K whenever I have the good fortune to be on Disney's private island.

Disney Cruise Line just announced some exciting new details about Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, but so far, I haven't heard any news about a 5K being offered. I know that more announcements are yet to be made, so I encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date on the latest news regarding this exciting new destination for Disney Cruise Line.

Within the recent announcements, new concept art was shared that illustrates the way Lookout Cay will be a celebration of Bahamian storytelling, artistry, and culture. I can't wait to see it for myself! Lookout Cay will also feature an adult-exclusive beach area, Serenity Bay. I'm sure you recognize the name from your time on Castaway Cay. This space on Lookout Cay promises to be a relaxing retreat complete with a dining area, private cabanas, and a beach.
