I have a big question. I am the mother of teenagers and I am fostering 3 additional children. The children dream of going to disney, although I have been I know I cannot cover a family of 8. Are there programs that help foster children enjoy the magic.

    Hi Lori!

My husband and I adopted our daughter from foster care in 2007 and I would just like to say thanks SO MUCH for your hard work and dedication to children in need!

At this time, there aren't any formal Disney special offers specifically available for foster parents and their children. I can tell you that in years past, the Foster Family-Based Treatment Association has held it's yearly educational conference at Walt Disney World and included accommodation and ticket deals as part of this event. You may wish to contact this organization to inquire about their future meeting plans.

Be sure to always keep an eye on the Special Offers section of the Disney website for room-only and vacation package savings. Free dining tends to be a wildly popular way to enjoy delicious food without having to worry about the expense of your menu selections.

Also, a great unofficial resource for Disney travel deals is: www.mousesavers.com.

Sending much pixie-dust your way that there will soon be a magical Disney vacation in your family's future!
