Hi I have a big family:we're 35. I made reservations for Akershus and ChefMickey's but I had to make 3 reservations per restaurant. Can I ask them to put us as near as possible?oneof the reservations is 20min after the others, can we enter together? Photos?

    Hi Bianca,

How fun! Grand Gatherings at Disney World are a wonderful way to make memories. I've been able to get 18 people seated together at Chef Mickey's before. You have double that, but I'm not going to say that it's impossible. You definitely want to all arrive together, and preferably at least 20 minutes before the first  reservation time you have booked. At that point, you'll let the Host/Hostess know that all 3 reservations are part of the same party and you would like to sit as close together as possible. Let him/her know that you are willing to wait for tables near each other. You'll definitely all be able to do the big photo together (provided they can fit you all in the shot). Some people may need to squat down and/or sit on the floor. They group you together near the Mickey statue and will take a large group shot. We had that done, and it is a fantastic photo. Whether or not you are all seated near each other will depend entirely on when tables become available. They need to wait for parties before you to finish their meals. I would go on the assumption that you won't all be together, that way you won't be disappointed if they can't make it work. My theory is that it's always better to be pleasantly surprised if something ends up working out after all.

Hope you have a wonderful vacation,
