Hi moms! Big family trip planned for nephew's 3rd birthday. We know he's going to LOVE Dumbo, especially the play space with a pager while you wait. Question is, what if he likes the playground so much he doesn't want to leave when it's his turn to ride?!

    Hi Mary!

I can't think of a more exciting place to celebrate a third birthday than Disney World!  Be sure to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for your nephew when you check in if you're staying at a Disney World Resort Hotel.  They are also available at any theme park Guest Relations location for all Guests whether you're staying on property or not.

Dumbo is one of the classic Disney rides and your nephew is indeed going to LOVE it!  I love it too, but especially love that some Imagineer came up with the brilliant idea of interactive queues like the one for Dumbo the Flying Elephant in the new Storybook Circus area that is air-conditioned and provides a place for Mom to sit for a moment.  Are you sure its your nephew that may not want to leave???

No worries.  I think that your nephew will have plenty of time to play in the interactive queue before your pager calls you for your magical flight.  Its okay if you don't immediately leave the play area to board.  The Cast Members understand that little Guests can become quite enamored with the play area.  However, I think that your nephew will also be excited that since he's turned 3 and now a "big boy", he can be in charge of taking the pager to the Cast Member so his "birthday party" can board to ride Dumbo.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-)  Allison
