My big family is headed to Walt Disney World for the first time in April! Hooray! Is there a MUST DO ride, place or Secret that "everyone does" at Disney? Also, what is the big deal about pin trading? Thanks! You guys are awesome!

    Hi Mary!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  Thank you for the compliment.  Everybody on the panel enjoy helping guests plan their magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  I don't know if there is a must do attraction for everybody, but below are some of the most popular things to do at Walt Disney World:
    • Soarin' at Epcot
    • Illuminations at Epcot
    • Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom
    • Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Toy Story Midway Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom
    • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at the Magic Kingdom
    • Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom
    • Pirates of the Caribbean at the Magic Kingdom
    • Finding Nemo the Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Fantasmic at Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Wishes at the Magic Kingdom

Since it is your first visit, I recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It is a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information without being overwhelming.  It is also a beautiful book full of color photographs.  It will give you a good feel for everything there is to do at Walt Disney World.

With regards to pin trading, it is just a fun activity at Walt Disney World.  Some guests are avid pin traders while others only buy pins that they really want to have and they never trade.  Needless to say, there are a lot of pins to look at in Walt Disney World!

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions!
