Hi Sofia!
Welcome back! We are delighted to see you stopping by again to ask a question at planDisney!
Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of my favorite resort hotels! We adore the iconic structure, the monorail zipping right through, and the easy access to Magic Kingdom. Although our girls normally alternate using the daybed, I have also slept on it and was quite comfortable. I am five feet, four inches tall (just over 162 centimeters if my math is correct). So, the daybed is perfect for children and some adults.
We have stayed in the main tower and the Garden Wing rooms. Both are lovely, but we often choose the Garden Wing rooms when they are more affordable. I love the first floor Garden Wing rooms because they have a patio and there are laundry facilities in the Garden Wing. Know also that you can walk to Magic Kingdom from Disney's Contemporary Resort.
If you do choose to stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort, I hope you dine at
Chef Mickey's and
California Grill. The views of Magic Kingdom from California Grill are stunning. Dinner here is our favorite way to end a busy day in the theme parks!
Sofia, as you make your plans, be sure to check the
operational updates, especially the updates for dining, theme park experiences, and resort hotels. I know this is a big trip for you and am so glad to see you doing your research early! Sending you a little extra pixie dust as you plan!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
