Hiya Michael,
Welcome to planDisney! As the mom of a Frozen-obsessed toddler,
Blizzard Beach is a favorite destination of ours. Our daughter could spend all day long in
Tike's Peak playing with the Snowgies and sliding down the slides. If you've never been, you're going to have a fantastic time!
Bringing a cooler to Blizzard Beach is a great idea, especially on a hot summer day. It will be perfect to carry snacks, beverages, and even cooling towels for your visit. Just make sure that your cooler adheres to
Walt Disney World's official property rules, which state that coolers (with or without wheels) must not exceed 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. If your cooler is larger than these dimensions, you will not be able to bring it inside with you, so I highly recommend measuring it in advance.
I hope that was helpful, Michael. Before I let you go, one other note about coolers. You are not permitted to bring loose or dry ice to any of the water parks or theme parks. Make sure to include reusable ice packs in your cooler to keep the contents cool. Also, make sure to pack some rain gear with you for Friday. There may be some rain coming your way, and in my experience, the midday showers do not last forever. A poncho or umbrella can help you weather the showers without skipping a beat. Please come back and see us if you need any additional help.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
