Guten Tag, Erika! Are you ready to have a little fun dining and dancing with an oompah polka band?
My family loves to celebrate Oktoberfest at the
Biergarten Restaurant every time we visit
EPCOT. With its views of a German neighborhood, the music and the food, it feels as close to Germany as we can get without a transatlantic flight. We raise our "Krüge hoch," sing "Ein Prosit" with the band, and toast to our health.
Walt Disney World Resort has many tasty
options for people with a gluten allergy. I think you will find the Biergarten to be exceptionally easy, as most of the
menu is already gluten-free without any accommodations required. Upon checking in, you can request a menu with allergy information, just to be sure.
For your question about gluten-free beers or ciders available, you will need to email special.diets@disneyworld.com. Unfortunately, I do not have this information available.
The menu also only lists "assorted desserts." If you choose to dine here, they have the most amazing vanilla sauce. I believe it is meant to be for the Apple Strudel, which is delicious. The vanilla sauce, however, is a wonderful companion to the Bavarian Cheesecake, the chocolate brownies, or by itself. You don't have to enjoy the strudel to get to savor this tasty treat.
I hope you are able to raise a glass to Gemütlichkeit and enjoy all the Biergarten has to offer. Please come back to
planDisney with any other questions. We will try our best to provide our experience, get an answer, or connect you to someone who can.
Prost!
Jana
