We bid on some park hoppers tickets at a Gala in February 2020...obviously we know what happened next. My son has special needs and we are now ready to return to the Park, however the tickets appear to have expired....is there anything you can do to help?

Hiya Michelle - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

While there's nothing we can do for you directly here at planDisney, I'm happy to describe the steps you should take to check on these Theme Park Tickets!

This is probably something that is best handled by calling and speaking to a Cast Member on the Existing Tickets line. They know the ins and outs of all things tickets and should be able to help. Typically, unused tickets do retain a value that can be applied to the purchase of a new Theme Park Ticket. That being said, there are many different types of tickets with different terms and conditions, and since you weren't the one who purchased the tickets directly from Disney, you'll need some help to find out exactly what can be done with your particular tickets.

Before you call, I recommend reaching out to the event organizers who provided you with the tickets to see if they have any additional documentation related to the tickets that they can share with you. I don't think you'd need anything more than the tickets themselves, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared, especially if you have a bit of a wait on hold to speak to a Cast Member!

I hope this information is helpful, Michelle! Are you planning to visit EPCOT during your upcoming vacation? If you do, be sure to check out the brand-new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind rollercoaster - it's a blast and simply can't be missed! Also, you mentioned that your son has special needs. If you haven't done so already, I encourage you to look into the Disability Access Service (DAS) to see if this is an accommodation that would benefit your family!
