Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James! My family loved standing in front of that Magic Mirror exploring all the amazing outfits and princesses. Even Daddy got in on the magic and tried on a Snow White Outfit; I have photos to prove it!
The Magic Mirror used to reside inside World of Disney when the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was located there, and all guests had an opportunity to “try on” the dresses and accessories. Now, the Magic Mirror and Cinderella Coach you’ll find at Disney Springs is unique to that area. Magic Kingdom’s boutique doesn’t have either of those offerings, but they do have a small portrait studio inside Castle Couture. You’ll find Cinderella’s pink dress under construction in the same room, which is so very sweet. I hope this helps you decide on which boutique to choose, but I also want to make you aware of a different experience…
The Pirate’s League! Your kids can be transformed into a Mermaid (bring your outfit, or choose and Ariel one and bring it to the League), a Pirate Empress, or a bearded pirate, and grownups can transform, too. There’s no age limit. When you see the ornate decorations and theming, your family will go nuts… top it off to a secret visit to the treasure room and you’ll leave with a special something. My son turned himself into Captain Hook last summer and showed me his serious pirate face all day long. He then wore parts of his costume all vacation long!
If I can assist you with any other questions about magical transformations, please let me know. Yo Ho and a Bottle of Pixie Dust! ~ Lindsey P.
