A royal hello, Lupe, and thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney!
Your April visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth will be here before you know it… time to get excited! My daughter experienced a magical makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique several years ago, and it was truly a day I’ll never forget!
Unfortunately, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort is currently only open for shopping, and not for makeovers. Sadly, we don’t have any news on when this pixie-dusted magic will return to Disneyland Park. So, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any new announcements about the reopening of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – this is the best spot for any breaking Disney Parks news!
However, all hope is not lost, Lupe! There are still plenty of ways to experience Disney Princess magic at the Disneyland Resort! In fact, no royal Disney day is complete without the ultimate enchanted experience at
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose. This upscale restaurant is located inside
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and it includes an unforgettable 3-course breakfast, along with super-special encounters with favorite Disney Princesses. Your princess-in-training can choose from fun options like princess waffles or even chocolate princess cake pops! If this sounds like something your daughter may enjoy, I recommend
booking a reservation soon, as they tend to go quickly! I just searched for a reservation on your arrival date, and I did see several available. I hope this works out for you!
Once you’re both nourished for your busy day in the parks, I recommend heading to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a royal shopping spree! Here, you’ll find a wide variety of royal attire and accessories to choose from. Plus, you can still ask a Fairy Godmother-in-training or a Coachman at the shop for a sprinkling of pixie dust – this is such a special touch for your little one to still feel magic during her special visit!
After being pixie-dusted, I recommend heading toward
Fantasy Faire, which is located just a few steps away from the Boutique. There, you’ll find a constant rotation of favorite Disney Princesses at
Royal Theatre. Previously, the Princesses held court inside
Royal Hall, but due to the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, they are currently taking over Royal Theatre instead. Though these greetings are socially-distanced, you can still get a great picture and even have a chat with each princess!
I hope this information helps you and your daughter enjoy a pixie-dusted visit to the Disneyland Resort, Lupe! Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!
See ya’ real soon!
