Hi there, Amanda!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I think that a trip to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for your little prince is one of the most unique and special experiences at the Disneyland Resort. While most people know this destination for its stylish Princess makeovers, some don't realize that boys can get in on the fun, too!
We took my son for the Knight Package as a birthday present, and he just absolutely loved it. He showed off his sword and shield to everyone in the parks telling them how he was a brave knight. Plus, what kid wouldn't love some pixie-dusted hair? As you mentioned, the Knight Packaged includes hairstyling with gel, a sword, and a shield. The Deluxe Knight Package includes hairstyling with gel, a knight costume, and a mighty sword and shield. The shields are very similarly made, but the "mighty" shield has a slightly different design. If you visit the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique page on the Disneyland Resort site, scroll to "show all packages" and you can see visual images of the different shields that are currently offered. Prices and services are subject to change, but in my experience the shields themselves were similar in price. You can conveniently now also make appointments for your experiences right from this page on the Disneyland Resort site! It's easier than ever.
If your child loves to dress up while on vacation or to relive his Disneyland Resort memories back home, I also suggest stopping by Pieces of Eight in New Orleans Square in
Disneyland Park. This merchandise location has some amazing pirate costumes and accessories for any young swashbuckler.
I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic trip!
