How does the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort package work with young girl with very curly and thick hair, almost ethnic hair?

    Hello there, Teresa!

Every young girl deserves to feel like a Princess. At the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort, every guest is given the royal treatment. The Fairy Godmothers-in-training have just the right magic in their wands to make every child feel special. With a variety of general hairstyles to choose from, each guest will be sure to find a suitable look to take on as they enjoy their day at the Disneyland Resort.

Our own daughter was able to experience a magical transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Her thick hair definitely needs some extra dinglehopper care. So we followed the advice on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique website and made sure her hair was clean and brushed before our arrival. I think the thick hair may have taken slightly more time to style than for many of the visitors to the boutique. But, with a little patience and a very liberal application of hair product, the talented Fairy Godmother-in-training had our daughter’s hair tamed and Disney PhotoPass-ready before we could say bibbidi bobbidi boo! It was thrilling to watch her reaction when her Fairy Godmother-in-training showed her the big reveal in her magic mirror.

Tony’s Tip: Reservations for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort can be made up to 60 days in advance. I recommend choosing the earliest available reservation so your little princess can enjoy her makeover longer that day. But if you happen to have special dining reservations that evening or plan to take a break to go swimming at your hotel in the afternoon, later reservations may be more desirable. Note that separate theme park admission to Disneyland Park is required to visit the boutique.

I hope you and your princess enjoy a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort, Teresa! If you have any more questions, we’d be happy to help here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
