Does the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Disneyland offer adaptive costumes for makeovers?

    Hi Monica,

Thanks for visiting planDisney! The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has done a lot to become more inclusive of guests over the years. That includes ensuring that every guest, no matter their needs, can feel like a princess or prince.

I was able to reach out to a Cast Member, and they informed me that Disneyland currently offers three adaptive dresses: Cinderella, Aurora, and Ariel. I recently took my little one to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and she chose the Ariel dress. She loved that it came in two pieces; it gave her more mobility than the traditional gowns. I can only imagine that the adaptive gown has even more versatility. The adaptive dresses don’t have a full skirt, which means part of the back of the dress may be exposed. The Fairy Godmother suggests bringing a pair of leggings to wear underneath for extra coverage.

You may also want to call the Disneyland Resort ahead of time to let them know you're interested in purchasing an adaptive costume. I recommend including the dress size you're looking for so the Fairy Godmothers can make sure they have exactly what you need.

After a magical visit to the Boutique, I recommend heading to the Royal Hall, where your little one can meet up to three Disney Princesses. It’s the perfect opportunity to collect autographs and take enchanting photos in their beautiful gown or princely outfit. My daughter loved showing off her dress and makeover to the princesses she met.

Afterward, we stopped by the Royal Theatre, where we enjoyed a delightful show. Guests can experience enchanting performances of Tangled or Beauty and the Beast. If you're lucky, Princess Belle or Rapunzel may even make a special appearance after the show to greet guests and sign autographs. Best of all, everything is conveniently located right next to each other in Fantasyland, so your royal party won’t need to travel far.

I hope this information was helpful, Monica. If you have any more questions or need extra tips for your trip, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We're always here to add a little extra magic to your planning.

    Happy planning!
