Does Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Disneyland do hair extensions? My daughters hair is growing back from chemo and we thought extensions could be fun!

    Hi, Jordan!

Welcome to planDisney, it's wonderful to meet you! I hope your brave little princess is recovering well and ready to enjoy some fun at the Disneyland Resort. I still vividly remember my nephew going through chemotherapy and I know what a brutal, scary experience that can be for an entire family. I'm sending all of you lots of happy thoughts!

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is overflowing with sparkle and style! I chatted with many of my fellow panelists this evening and the report is that yes, there will most likely be options for hair clips or ponytail extensions. And you're right, they are very fun! I've recently seen options for hair clips and extensions that match our favorite Frozen sisters, some very colorful ponytails, and beautiful flower crowns that would work well even if a princess had no hair at all! I think you'll have plenty of beautiful accessories to choose from.

When you arrive for your appointment (don't forget to make a reservation) you'll be able to look at all the different makeover packages offered. That's when a Fairy Godmother's Apprentice will answer any questions you might have about hair styling options. One of the things I love about the boutique is that you're welcome to bring your own outfit, or you can purchase one there. You'll also find plenty of magical items for all ages. I may have been known to wear a mini tiara around the parks myself...I highly recommend it!

Speaking of sparkling extras, did you know that anyone can ask the Fairy Godmother's Apprentices at the boutique for a sprinkle of pixie dust? I might be a grown-up, but I can always use a little bit of magical glitter!

After your daughter's makeover you should wander over toward Fantasy Faire. The path between the boutique and that area goes along the side of Sleeping Beauty Castle and it's a beautiful spot to take some photos. You can also pay a visit to the princesses at Royal Hall and enjoy one of my favorite entertainment options in the parks: Storytelling at Royal Theater!

A makeover isn't the only way to celebrate at the Disneyland Resort! You should visit Guest Relations for a complimentary celebration button. They can personalize it with a short message, so you can be celebrating a healthy kid, new hair, finishing chemotherapy, or anything else that feels like a win. Cast Members love to see your buttons and celebrate with you! The parks are also the perfect place to find a delicious treat (or two...or three...) or have a special meal with our favorite characters!

Jordan, I hope that new hair is just the beginning of wonderful things coming for your sweet daughter and your family. I know planning a park visit with kids can be a lot, so if you have any other questions just send me a note and I'll be happy to help! I'm wishing for you to have the most perfect vacation ever!

    Keep moving forward!
