My bf and I plan to bring a backpack to the parks. I don't really want to keep it in a locker as I will like to get at it through out the day. Just wondering what to do with our backpack while we are on rides, should i worry that it's left unattended?

    Hi Jen!

We always take a backpack into the parks as well. It can be very convenient for carrying all of the things you might need for the day and also the things you accumulate as you tour the parks. You'll be happy to know that you can take your backpack on most of the rides with you. I usually just hold the bag on my lap or place it by my feet in the ride vehicle, and it's never been a problem. If you don't feel comfortable taking your bag on some of the rides, just ask one of the cast members at the ride's boarding area and they should be able to assist you.

For water rides, I would suggest putting anything valuable such as your wallet, cell phone, camera, etc. in ziploc bags inside your backpack. You could also pack a small garbage bag which you can place your entire backpack in on the wet ride so that nothing gets wet or damaged. The Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom has an area in the center of the raft to store things, but it isn't 100% watertight. Wrapping your bag in a plastic garbage bag will definitely help.

I hope this is helpful! Have a wonderful trip!
