BF and I (31&23) are going to MNSSHP on 9/22. We want to wear costumes, but are unsure what to do. Would booking Pirates League be a good idea or do you have to have kids with you?

Hi Amy,

I just returned from a Disney adventure with some of my Moms Panel Pals, and one of the highlights of our trip was turning into "Pirate Princesses" at the new Pirate League at Magic Kingdom. Margaret, Jodi, Whitney and I had an absolute blast turning over our "land lubber names" and being officially sworn in as novice pirates. (I am now officially known as "Cat Starfish" by the way!). None of us had our children with us, as it was a "girls' getaway" and we had an amazing time! Feel free to make reservations for your own transformation, as it's a total hoot! If you prefer to wear your own costumes to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, that's absolutely fine as well. Many guests come dressed up to enjoy the festivities. In fact, the characters are in costume as well! The party is a wonderful way to kick off Fall!
