Hi Emily! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm sure you are getting excited about your potential visit to the Walt Disney World Resort next month! Before you know it, you'll be bumping elbows with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the gang!
I have great news for you, Emily! The minimum age to check in to a
Disney Resorts Hotel is 18 years old. Make sure to bring a valid government-issued ID to verify this information. In addition to the age requirements, you will be required to present a credit card in your name that will be tied to your account. This will be used for any incidentals and charges you make directly on the room.
Once your resort room is reserved and linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can start the
Online Check-In process if you prefer. It's an easy and convenient way to check in to your resort. There will not be any need to have to stop by the front desk upon arrival. You'll simply head straight to your resort room once you receive a notification that it is ready. During the online check-in, you will be required to enter a valid credit card with your name on it.
One of the toughest parts of booking your stay is deciding which Disney Resorts hotel to choose from. There is no shortage of amazing places to pick from including a variety that will fit in many different types of budgets. One of my favorites is
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It's wonderfully themed and gives you the feeling that you are on a tropical getaway. The location of this resort puts you directly in between Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, so you only have a short ride on the Disney Skyliner to get to each.
Emily, I hope you have a magical time during your visit!
