Hi! My BF and I will be coming Sun-Sat Dec 1-7.I know the MVMCP days aren't posted yet, but assuming they're similar to 2012 what day of the week is best for avoiding the crazy crowds during this special event?? Want to do the event, but not the crowds. :)

    Melissa,

You have chosen a fantastic week to head to the Walt Disney World Resort. You will be coming in after the craziness of Thanksgiving Week and before most schools in the country let out for Holiday break. Because of this, you should be fine in avoiding the largest crowds of that wonderful season. However, many locals come to the events such as these on the weekends, so I would most likely try to attend on a weekday towards the beginning of the week, such as Monday or Tuesday. Keep in mind, this is just my recommendation and I am not able to gauge crowd levels or predict if there will be a special circumstance that would bring lots of people during that week.

I was there this past December around that time and the crowds were very manageable. Don't get me wrong, this is a very popular event, but it is also a ticketed event so this, too, keeps the crowds from becoming unbearable while still remaining enjoyable for everyone!

Have a magical trip and if I can help you with any other questions during your planning process, be sure to stop back by and ask me.
