What does Beverage Cooler, coffee and tea service in room mean when choosing a room with those items/services listed in green?

    Hi, Ashley, welcome to planDisney!

When visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and staying in a Disney Resort Collection hotel, you not only immerse yourself in the magic of Disney, but you can take advantage of things like extra time in the theme parks and complimentary transportation! Also included in most Disney-themed rooms are amenities like a coffee maker, beverage cooler, and free Wi-Fi service.

The type of coffee maker found in your Disney Resort Collection hotel will vary from resort to resort, with some offering single-cup brewers while others use a flat coffee pod that brews one to two cups. The same coffee makers are also able to make hot water for an assortment of teas but whether you enjoy a cup of coffee or a cup of tea throughout the day, the essentials (cups, lids, sweeteners, creamers) are readily available in your room and will be replenished when Mousekeeping comes by. If you ever need more, you can simply call the front desk and ask the Cast Member to have more delivered to your room.

Some Guests like to take advantage of the various grocery delivery services available to stock their room full of snacks and other staple items. The beverage cooler found in your room is on the smaller side, but perfect for keeping a few drinks cold, it is just not ideal for keeping perishables or leftovers cold like your refrigerator at home.

I would also like to recommend swinging by your resort's quick service dining option like Tarzan to purchase the 16 oz. Refillable Mugs available. These mugs are good for the length of your stay, up to 14 days, and give you access to unlimited soda, coffee, and tea at your resort, or any other resort on the property, just not the theme parks. Not only are they a great value for your visit, but they also make great travel mugs when you return home. Our cupboard currently has six from our last couple of visits and somehow the coffee always seems to taste a little bit better when drinking out of them...

I hope this answers your question, Ashley, and I hope you have a fantastic visit to Walt Disney World. Come back to visit us at planDisney if you have any additional questions about your upcoming visit!

    Cheers,
    Brent
