Which is better for a 3 & 4 yr old, Disneyworld or Disneyland? We're debating bringing our 1 yr old or leaving him with grandparents. Thoughts?

What a great question Kristy. Picking between the resorts on both coasts is like choosing between vanilla and chocolate; they are both amazing. With younger children involved I would suggest that you choose the resort that is easier to travel to. Since I live in Los Angeles, I travel almost exclusively to the Disneyland Resort. I have been taking my two children there since they were babies. While I would go slow as far as introducing the kids to the larger characters at first (I have a great photo of my daughter crying with Goofy), all of your family will have a magical experience. As for bringing the one year old, I say go for it! First off, children under three are free. Moreover, you will be able to capture moments at the parks with your youngest that are once in a life time. There is something special about seeing them in their first Mickey Mouse ears hat. I'm sure whatever choice you make your family will have a wonderful vacation at the Disney resorts.
