    Which is a better week to go March 1-7 2009 or April 26- May 2 2009? Just wondering as far as crowds are concerned, because we have never been in the spring before. Thanks

    If you are primarily concerned about avoiding crowds, I would highly recommend the beginning of March. You'll enjoy much lower crowds that what you would find in late April and early May.

    Crowds will begin to develop in mid-March with a huge spike before and after Easter. April crowds even after the Easter travelers have departed will still be much larger than early March.
