Is it better weather and crowd wise to visit Disney World in Oct/Nov or in mid-April? Planning to return in 2015. We just visited in April 2014. And which moderate resort would you suggest for a 5 and 2 yr old boy? We stayed at AOA in April.

    Hi Julie-Ann!

It is wonderful to hear you just took a lovely Walt Disney World vacation and are already planning your next magical trip.

Spring vacations can be beautiful, however, fall is my favorite time to visit.  Usually, the weather tends to be a bit more mild and occasionally, the crowds a bit lighter.  Although those variables are a bit harder to predict, one thing I can count on are the beautiful fall decorations which adorn the parks that time of year.  We also love to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  I don't know whether the kids or the grown-ups enjoy trick-or-treating through the Magic Kingdom more.

Our favorite moderate resort is Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.  My boys absolutely love splashing in the Fuentes del Morro Pool and in the adjoining shipwreck play area (made just for little ones.)  The resort also offers  nightly campfires complete with s'mores and stories.

I'd love to help continue planning your next adventure, so please let me know if you have any further questions.  I have visited several times with my own little ones, so if you need any specific dinning or attraction recommendations, I have a few favorites I'd love to share.  Until then, happy planning!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
