Which is a better location/experience for watching Wishes - California Grill or Citricos? Can the music be heard from both venues? Thanks, First Time WDW Visitor!

    Hi Ghazaleh!
YEAH! Congratualtions on hitting Walt Disney World for your first time!! You are going to have such an amazing time!!
Wow, tough question, at least with respect to the food! Both Citricos and California Grill offer a delicious, and elegant, dining experience. I have eaten at both, and found the food to be equally tasty, the settings equally pleasant, and both meals were artfully presented. The advantage, in my mind, goes quickly to California Grill when you factor in Wishes! Although it is visible from both restaurants, I do not believe there is any comparison as to the BETTER view, especially from the walkway outside of California Grill. Music is supposed to be piped in to both locations, but technical difficulties are an unpredictable occurence. That is another advantage to California Grill in that you can hear the music and narration from the Magic Kingdom even if the speakera are not working. All things considered, I would opt for California Grill...it's amazing!
I wish you and your family a Magical and Memorable first trip!! :)
