Hi! Is it better (quicker) to take the monorail to Epcot from WL vs bus? Is it walkable from WL to the TTC, or how would you get there? I've heard the bus makes stops before getting to epcot and the monorail sounds like it might be better? Thanks

    Hi Ryan!

How did you know that I love answering Walt Disney World Transportation System questions?  It will actually be faster to take the bus from the Wilderness Lodge Resort to Epcot even if it stops at one or two other Resorts to pick up more passengers along the way to Epcot.  You are looking at about a 20 minute journey on the bus once you are on it.  If you were to take the Monorail, you first would have to take the boat or bus from the Wilderness Lodge Resort to the Magic Kingdom and then the Monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center (the TTC).  Once you are at the Ticket and Transportation Center, then you would have to transfer to the Monorail that is going to Epcot (just the two Monorail parts of this journey will take 40 minutes at a minimum and then the boat or bus trip will add another 15 to 25 minutes to your total time).  If you have time to spare, then I would recommend the Monorail route (I love riding Monorails and I could do it for the whole day).  If you need to get to Epcot quicker, then I think that the bus is your best option.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation it truly amazing in every way!
