Would it be better to plan a disney world trip for the end of September this year or wait until early march 2022 were concerned about having fast passes or a similar system and about things being fully up and running from covid by September...

    Hello Carla!

Are you hungry for Mickey waffles as soon as you awake? While driving to work do you long to be pummeling down Space Mountain? Are you desperate for a Disney fix? Then consider a September visit to the mouse.

If you prefer the sweet anticipation of seeing Tink flying from the Cinderella Castle turrets and eating Dole Whip to last for months, and you delight in taking your time with Disney planning, then a later March arrival to Walt Disney World might be your best choice.

Special events might help you decide your trip dates. Do you prefer Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival held in the fall or the springtime option of Epcot's International Flower and Garden Festival? Maybe you wish to attend the Disney After Hours Boo Bash that is offered in the months leading up to Halloween.

Since Disney has made no announcements regarding the return of FastPass+ or a similar system, I would be hesitant to plan a trip around its return. My family has found attraction queues to more equitable since the reopening; the lack of FastPass+ did not impede our ability to enjoy theme park attractions and allowed us to enjoy a more flexible schedule.

Of course, anytime is a fabulous time to visit Walt Disney World, so either decision will be a magical one.

    Enjoy your wonderful adventure!
