Is it better to be 6-7 mos pregnant or having a newborn at WDW? My family will be having a reunion at the end of October 2014 and my husband and I are trying to plan out our family around it. I have been there several times and am familiar with the weather

Howdy Shannon! Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!!!

I was at Walt Disney World when I was pregnant and quite frankly, I was pretty miserable at times. A friend was there when she was pregnant and she was miserable as well. However, other mommies have been fine. You just have to pace yourself. If you need a break, take it. Your family will understand.

If you end up going with a newborn, I have some suggestions for you. Be sure to pack any age appropriate and doctor recommended medicine that you might need. Hopefully you won't need any of it but it's better to be safe than sorry.

There are Baby Care Centers at the 4 theme parks that are wonderful areas that are free of charge to use. Great locations to change your baby, nurse or just take a break. They also have a small area where you will find a variety of items available for purchase: food, medicine, diapers and more.

Be sure to pack a small blanket or towel to cover your stroller when you are inside an attraction. The strollers get hot in the sun and the towel or blanket will protect sensitive skin. I have seen some families with fans that they attach to the inside of the stroller so their baby stays cool. You might consider doing the same.

When my kiddos were younger, we pre-packed their clothes in plastic quart size bags. If either of our children needed to change their clothes, we would grab a bag, change them and then place the dirty clothes in the quart size bag. You might think about doing the same only with multiple onsies if needed.

I wish I could tell you with a great deal of certainty which time frame you should consider.  Regardless of when you go, I know it will be magical and I love that you will be there with lots of family.  They will enjoy taking care of you and/or your little one.

Please let me know if you need any further information. So excited for you! I know you are going to have a magical vacation!!
