Is it better to use military discounts on resort rooms,or get the free dining plan? With 2 rooms, with different parties arriving on different days do we need to call to connect the reservations? Do you know anyone who can answer military family questions?

    Hi Samantha!

Thanks for sending your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family and I have used the military discounts in the past. Typically what I do is call Guest Services at 1 (407) 939-1936 and ask them to compare the military discounted room rate with a room rate which includes a special offer such as free dining. The Cast Members are great at providing information as to which would be a greater savings. While you are on the phone with them, they can also connect reservations so that your different parties' rooms are close.

Did you know?: There are many great discounts for those who actively serve or have served in the military. Currently, there is a discount for a 4-Day Ticket with Park Hopper option included. You can find this offer by visiting this page: Special Offers.  These offers are available to active or retired members of the U.S. Military or their spouses including the National Guard, Reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard and  will require presentation of military identification.

It has been a pleasure assisting you! Please feel free to send in any other questions you may have.

    Happy Planning!
