Better to meet Anna & Elsa at rope drop or Fastpass later in the day?

Hi Molly!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family LOVES to Meet Ana and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall. My kids really feel like they are part of Arendal and they love to tell the Princesses stories about their land. Last time we had this meet and greet my daughter was twirling with Ana and it was such a precious moment.

If I had to choose I would absolutely reserve a FastPass+ return time to meet Ana and Elsa. The reason for me is because this attraction is extremely popular. There are many families that come to Magic Kingdom Park for rope drop just to come for this attraction. It could potentially be a much longer wait to participate in this meet and greet at rope drop than if you were to use a FastPass+. I would try for this FastPass+ time and if I was unable to get it, then I would try for rope drop.  There is nothing more disappointing than disappointed kids having to wait a really long time to meet the Princesses of their dreams (trust me I’ve been there!)
