Is there a better Magic Kingdom Fireworks dessert party that would work better for a group of 23 with kids and adults and mobility scooters?

    Hey Kim,

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for thinking of us while you plan your Walt Disney World vacation. It sounds like you’re traveling with a large group - I love to hear it! There’s nothing quite like experiencing a multigenerational Disney World vacation. The memories you’re going to make will be priceless. I love to bring my multigenerational family when I visit, including my mom who also uses an ECV to get around when we visit. Disney is very accommodating when it comes to guests who need to use wheelchairs and ECVs. You’ll have no problem getting them into spaces throughout the parks, including the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties.

There are three Fireworks Dessert Parties that happen at the Magic Kingdom: the Pre-Party, Seats & Sweets, and the Post-Party. During the Pre-Party, you’ll enjoy a delicious variety of sweet treats prior to the Happily Ever After Fireworks Show. Shortly before the show begins, a cast member will escort your party to a reserved viewing area in The Plaza Garden where you’ll have prime viewing of the show. During Seats & Sweets, you’ll enjoy your delicious confections during Happily Ever After from the perfect vantage point of Tomorrowland Terrace and from the comfort of your own table. Guests who book the Post-Party will head into Tomorrowland Terrace after Happily Ever After ends and top off their evening with delectable desserts.

Each of these options would be able to accommodate your party size (including the guests in ECVs) if there’s availability. To coordinate reservations for a group that large, you can either book two separate reservations in two different My Disney Experience accounts and ask the host if you can be seated close when you arrive or you can call Walt Disney World starting 60 days prior to your arrival and ask a cast member for help with booking your large party reservation. Cast members at Tomorrowland Terrace will do their best to seat you close to one another, but your group may be at separate tables.

Kim, I hope this information is helpful. Come on back and visit us here at planDisney with any additional planning questions you might have about your visit. Until then, TTFN… ta-ta for now!
