    Which is better location for viewing Illuminations, Teppan Edo or San Angel Inn?

    Hi Dee!

    Neither one is any good for watching Illuminations; San Angel Inn is extremely poor as it is located inside the Mexico Pavilion with no view of the outside world!

    For Illuminations, you really want to be outside up against the World Showcase Lagoon to get a good view of Illuminations.  That said, however, maybe you are referring to the country pavilion those are in as opposed to the actual restaurants.  In that case, I think both are fine, though Japan has more good viewing locations than Mexico.

    If you are really looking for a restaurant to watch Illuminations from then I recommend the Rose and Crown in the United Kingdom Pavilion and La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion.  Rose and Crown has outdoor seating that is very popular during Illuminations while the La Hacienda de San Angel has huge windows that look onto the water.  If you want to watch Illuminations while dining, I recommend making a reservation between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm and waiting for Illuminations to start!
