Which is the better for kids, the Hoop de Do Review at Fort Wilderness or the Luau at the Polynesian. We have a 7 year old boy and 5 year old girl. We are going in December 2009.

    Hi Heather,

Both dinner shows are a great way to end a perfect Disney day, however, I would vote for the Spirit of Aloha Show for children your kids' ages.  My children (who just happen to be 5 and 7 as well) saw the luau this past August and had a fabulous time.  The "fire eater" had them (and the entire audience) mesmerized.  They loved the hula dancing, and an opportunity to get up on stage and show their stuff along with the performers!  The Hoop De Doo Revue is a country-western style variety show with lots of singing, dancing and slap-stick comedy.  My kids enjoyed the show, but a lot of the humor was lost on them.  I would recommend holding off on the Hoop De Doo until your kids are a bit older.

Whichever you chose, have a  wonderful evening!
