Is there a better hotel to stay at with a 2 year old. I am concerned that she will not like long bus rides. I like the monarail idea but the delux hotels w/monarail are pretty pricey, but moderate and value seem far away from parks.

    Hello Alysia,

Coming from Ohio, much of our vacation expenses go towards travel, so I try to save on accommodations when I can.  But I have loved every Disney Resort at which my family has stayed, so it's hard for me to choose a "better" Resort.

I have traveled with a toddler to the World. So I remember needing midday breaks and quick trips back to the room.

My recommendation for a Resort would be the Beach Club. The pool is awesome and your family will love it. It's a shipwreck with a sandy bottom. And the location is perfect. You can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. And you're on the BoardWalk so there's tons to do for the kids even when you're not in the Parks.

No matter where you choose just know I have never had a ride longer than 20 minutes between our Resort and the Parks. I remind myself my commute to work is further than that!

I hope this helps you make a decision as you're planning your Disney vacation. Happy trip planning!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
