Which is better for my family of 4 (wife, 12 and 6 year girls) to stay at - Princess room at Port Orleans or Lion King room at Art of Animation? Last year we did Little Mermaid Room at Art of Animation.

    Hi Larry!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have personally stayed in The Little Mermaid Standard Room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and a Royal Guest Room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and loved the attention to detail found throughout both. Although both resorts offer unique theming and fun recreational activities, I would have to recommend Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside based on my own experience and personal preference. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside evokes a quiet charm, a relaxing, yet fun atmosphere and offers transportation via ferryboat to the Downtown Disney area. The Lion King Family Suite does provide more room to spread out; however, I personally believe a Royal Guest Room would be a practically perfect choice for two young princesses.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have as your vacation approaches. Best wishes for a magical trip, Larry!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
