Which is better for Easter, I am having a hard time deciding, Magic Kingdom or Epcot? we are coming with our 6 year old and were hoping to see more "easter" in the kingdom but seems epcot will have it but fear he wont have much fun...?

    Hi Laurie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family loved spending Easter at Walt Disney World Resort and I know yours will too!

Deciding between Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot for Easter really depends on what experiences you’re looking for. Magic Kingdom Park usually has a meet and greet with the adorable Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, and there is usually an Easter add-on before the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. Pick up a Times Guide as you enter the Park for those times and locations. My children were similar in age to your son when we visited for Easter, and they really loved the Easter Egg hunt around Epcot’s World Showcase. Pick up an interactive sticker map and then visit each country to find colorful eggs featuring Disney characters; when you’re done, return the completed map for a prize! Also at Epcot is the International Flower & Garden Festival, which features fun activities and really spectacular topiaries of all your favorite characters.

Another fun way we celebrated Easter was with a character meal. Select restaurants will have special Easter menus, but those are not usually released until a few weeks in advance. Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest spring and Easter news.

Wishing you a magical Easter at Walt Disney World!
