Which would be better for DD5 and DD21months? CMC Goofy breakfast or 1900 w/ Mary poppins and friends? We are also considering Tusker house for character lunch and Princess storybook for breakfast or dinner. Very much torn but having fun planning:)

As the parent of two girls who have grown up at the Disneyland Resort, I have learned a valuable lesson regarding characters and little children. Some little ones do not respond well to large characters and may become a bit unhappy. I think you need to keep that in mind in making this determination. I have a classic photo of my oldest daughter hanging on to me for dear life as Goofy went to say hello. Great memory. Needless to say my younger daughter was a champion and loved Mickey at first sight. So, if it might be an issue, I would side with Mary and her delightful pals. If all is well, then Goofy is simply adorable and it is a great way to start your day. I agree with you, the fun is in the planning. Speaking of which, if you have any other questions, let me know and I will do my best to help you have the best vacation. See you at the parks.
