Which is a better choice--Chef Mickey's or The Crystal Palace?

Both Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace rank high on the list of most poplar Disney Dining experiences so you really can't go wrong with either choice!  Both are buffet-style restaurants and both feature characters so it really all boils down to personal preference!

Chef Mickey's is located in the Contemporary Resort which is neat, because dining here will give you the opportunity to check-out one of Disney World's oldest resorts.  The atmosphere here is vibrant and exciting and it offers guests the chance to meet with the beloved "Fab 5" characters, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto.  This is one of the few times you'll ever catch the whole gang together! The buffet offerings are endless and offer something for everyone from foodies to picky eaters...there's even a kids buffet for the smallest guests!

At Crystal Palace, the buffet offerings are similar but the characters are different!  Here, you will have a blast meeting with Winnie the Pooh and friends Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet.  The draw here is that you'll be dining steps away from Main Street USA which is a huge convenience because the excitement of the Magic Kingdom is right outside the door!  I just love the whimsical theming and it almost lends itself to a vintage, victorian vibe!  I also LOVE the stuffed peach french toast which is exclusive to Crystal Palace.  It is one of my all-time favorite dishes...Disney or beyond!  If you book an early morning reservation at Crystal Palace, before park opening, you can arrive early to capture some priceless photos in an empty Magic Kingdom!

Honestly, I think you'd be pleased with either of these options and it really just comes down to personal preference!  When making your decision, be sure to consider the location of each and the characters.  I think those are the two main differences!
