Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Robyn!
For the past five years, my family has always traveled to the Disney Parks with a stroller. It is simply a necessity for transporting little ones around the parks quickly and safely. Personally, I prefer to bring a stroller from home or to rent one from a third-party vendor for a few reasons. First, when my daughter was younger, she much preferred the comfort of her own stroller and this promoted easy naps in the parks when she needed to rest. It's also easy to spot our stroller from home among the crowd in stroller parking.
Another important reason we use our own stroller is because we need it to travel from our hotel to the parks and the
Downtown Disney District.
Strollers rented at the Disneyland Resort can only be used in the two theme parks and must be returned at the end of the day. While they do offer a small storage pocket, they do not recline. So if you are traveling with an infant, you will need to bring a stroller from home or rent from a different company.
When it comes to staying hydrated, there are
drinking fountains located throughout the parks and a few water bottle filling stations at some quick service restaurants. But your best bet might be to ask for a free cup of ice water from any quick service restaurant to fill up your water bottles.
I hope this information was useful. Please stop by again if you have any other questions!
