Is it better to book trip online thru Disney website or call Disney and book trip?

    Hi Tanya,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great planning question. Booking a Walt Disney World vacation can involve lots of decisions, so I think it is wonderful that you are thinking ahead. Here are a few things to consider as you decide how to book your trip.

By going online to book, you have the flexibility to do so at any time of the day, any day of the week. When calling the main reservation line at (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639), you would need to call between 7am-11pm Eastern Standard Time. Another advantage of booking online is not having to wait on hold, which is a possibility if you call the reservation line.

On the flip side, by speaking to a cast member, you can ask questions as they assist you. If you are a first-time guest, this would be a great benefit. The cast members are usually great about recommending things or letting you know about things you might not have previously considered. Sometimes, guests have special requests or need notations made on their reservations that cannot be done online.

Lastly, feel free to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions after you book your magical trip. We love offering our recommendations on dining, itineraries, and other fun tips.

    Happy Planning!
