Is it better to book fast passes earlier in the day in order to have a chance of getting more fast passes later on?

Hello Melissa, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an awesome planning question.

I always try to make the best of utilizing the FastPass+ system by scheduling my experiences as early in the day as possible. Especially for the most popular rides and attractions. You are absolutely correct in your thinking. Once you have redeemed the last of your initial three FastPass+ experiences, you can begin to look for a fourth experience. You will probably have a better chance of finding an available experience for later in the day or evening.

This always allows me to build in some much-needed downtime during my schedule by giving me some time to grab a bite to eat, do a little shopping or going back to my resort for a quick swim or a short rest in the middle of my day. I can return to the park refreshed for that fourth FastPass+ experience. However, if you have the Park Hopper Option added to your theme park tickets, you can even select your fourth experience in another theme park, providing there is availability. You can make your selections online or in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Remember to log on just a few minutes before 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time on your selection day, you want to make sure you are signed in and ready to go. Good luck with your planning and if you need any more help before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.
