Is it better to do BOG at lunch or dinner? I know lunch is QS and dinner is TS. We will not be a DP. Also, when not on DP is CRT or Akershus the better choice? This will be 4th time, but have never done a princess meal due to cost. Thank you so much!

    Hi Nicole!

You'd probably receive several opinions if you polled the Moms Panel, but I can tell you with certainty, both the Be Our Guest fast casual lunch and Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall will not disappoint!

Although subject to change, currently Be Our Guest allows you the ability to choose your dining room only at lunch, and is a MAGICAL experience at a fraction of the dinner cost. Please remember the dining rooms can accommodate over 500 guests at a time, so a very long line forming in the late morning hours will move rather quickly. As I also experienced, dining at lunch allows you to wander the dining rooms a bit, taking photos along the way.

My family loves Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall! The Norwegian offerings are delicious, and our children love the personal interaction they receive from the many Disney Princesses.

If budget is a concern, please don't feel the two options will be any less magical! It is definitely a treat to dine within Cinderella Castle, however I'd determine the factors most important to your family. Is it simply meeting the Disney Princesses or is the mystique of dining in Cinderella Castle? Both will offer a complimentary imaging package to commemorate your dining experience.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation, Nicole!
