Hi Karen,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for your question!
In my experience, guests aren’t able to park their car at the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels without a reservation. Whether it’s a dining reservation or a reservation for
Horseback Riding, you would need one to park your car at the hotel.
With that being said there is another way for you and your party to venture from
Disney's Wilderness Lodge to
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, where
Tri-Circle-D Ranch is located! On
this page, under “Disney Watercraft Transportation”, you’ll see that you can ride the water taxi to The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.
It looks like there’s one boat option that goes straight to
Magic Kingdom Park, while the other stops at both Disney’s Fort Wilderness and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. After your boat ride to The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, you can make your way over to the Ranch!
I’ve actually been able to experience Tri-Circle-D Ranch and it’s actually breathtaking to see the horses up close, they are really beautiful! I’m sure whether your family decides to do this outing as a morning or afternoon activity, it’ll be a really fun way to see a different part of the Walt Disney World Resort.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming trip. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
