Hi Marlene,
Thanks for your question.
Wilderness Lodge is such a beautiful resort on the edge of Seven Seas Lagoon. Even though the resort is very close to
Magic Kingdom, you will feel as if you are staying in a secluded mountain lodge. My family loves hanging out in the lobby near the giant fireplace, especially in the winter; grabbing a burger next to the water at
Geyser Point Bar & Grill; lounging by the pool; and sipping a libation in Territory Lounge.
We haven't had the chance to experience
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, but a number of my Disney Parks Moms Panel friends have raved about it.
When you are ready to leave the resort for dining, shopping and entertainment at
Disney Springs, the easiest way to get there using the Disney transportation system will be by bus. The buses pick up guests near the Wilderness Lodge lobby entrance. The buses arrive about every 20 minutes. Once you board the bus, the trip to Disney Springs takes 15 to 20 minutes. The buses will drop you in Town Center at Disney Springs, the heart of the complex. From the bus station, you will be a short stroll to all Disney Springs has to offer, including
World of Disney with the largest collection of Disney merchandise on the planet.
Please let us know if you have any other questions as you make your plans for your Walt Disney World vacation, Marlene. Enjoy!
Wilma
