    What's the best website to look for snack credits, I have seen conflicting reports on what counts as a snack and what doesn't. Do you know if the make your own treats at Goofys cc count, what about dole whips? Why doesn't Disney just makes list for us!

    The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to maximize your dining experience at Walt Disney World.  A good rule of thumb when deciding what will count as a snack credit is to look at the price, generally anything that is under $5 is eligible.  Eligible snacks will have the purple and white checkered square next to them on the menu to let you know that they are a snack credit also. While Disney does not post an official snack credit list, two unofficial sites disneyfoodblog.com and disboards.com are both great places to check out for best use of snack credits and a list of snack credit options. 
    Ah..Dole whips are definitely considered a snack credit option as is my favorite the Dole Whip Float (I spend a lot of snack credits on that one).  At Goofy's Candy Company the create your own treats included as a snack credit are the topped crisp rice treat, gingerbread cookie and 4 topped marshmallow because not all of the create your own treats counts as a snack credit.  You will notice that they those three are just under $5 and are not always clearly marked.  My advice is to ask a cast member if you are unsure if it will count as a snack credit because this is always subject to change. In my experience, anything that is under $5 is pretty much considered an option.  Have a great time snacking your way through the "Most Magical Place on Earth."  Visit us at The Mom's Panel if you have anymore questions!
