Hey howdy-hey, Ashley! Welcome to planDisney! A visit to
Tri-Circle-D Ranch sounds like a great way to spend a Disney Day! Whether you’re visiting for pony rides, carriage rides, or trail rides, the Tri-Circle-D Ranch is the place to see the horses and ponies of the Walt Disney World Resort!
Your first destination should be Magic Kingdom Park (you won’t enter the park). You can get there by either taking the
Monorail from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or by taking a boat from the resort to Magic Kingdom Park. Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, you should board a boat for Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground where you will find the Tri-Circle-D Ranch!
Another option would be to take a taxi from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. You can get a taxi from the front of your resort. The front desk at your resort hotel will be able to assist with securing a taxi for you. I would be sure to provide them with some advanced notice that you would like a taxi.
Of course, the big difference between the first option and the taxi option is that the first option is complimentary transportation as a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel! There would be a fee associated with the taxi option, but I believe it would be rather inexpensive due to the relatively short distance between the locations.
There you go, Ashely. Monorail, boat, horseback!
Happy Planning!
