Best ways to celebrate our daughters 5th birthday at Disney World?

Hey Nicole!  Your daughter is going to love celebrating her 5th birthday at WDW.  My 6 year old just celebrated her birthday there and she truly thought she was Miss Disney that day!
For starters, make sure you get her birthday button.  These can be obtained when you check in at your resort or at the park entrances.  Tell her to wear it proudly so CM's and even guests can wish her birthday greetings!
Have you considered a character meal for her special day?  I think one of the very best places to celebrate a special day is at Chef Mickey's, which is located in the Contemporary.  They really know how to do birthdays there.  Make sure you mention it's her birthday so she can receive her tasty birthday cupcake.
Also, if she is into the princesses, then I highly recommend the BBB, I especially love the one at Cinderella Castle.  There she can have a complete princess make over (including costume) or simply have her hair and nails done.  Package prices vary for this treat.
These are just a few recommendations I think would make her day extra special and WOW what a way to celebrate your 5th birthday!  Happy Birthday to her and I hope you all have the most magical WDW vacation.
Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel with your great question.
