    What is the best way to get to Mickey's Backyard Barbecue from the contemporary resort and how much time should we allow to get there? Thank you!

    Hi Ashley! You will find it very easy to go from the Contemporary Resort to the Fort Wilderness Resort. 

    Mickey's Backyard Barbecue is located in Fort Wilderness near Pioneer Hall. This is a short walk from the marina and boat launch area. Head down to the boat area of the Contemporary and hop on the boat to Fort Wilderness. It is usually the one on the right side but be sure and ask the boat pilot when it arrives. The boats run as the buses do, about every 15 minutes. The trip itself will take only about 8 minutes. I would definitely plan 30 minutes to get from one resort to the next just to be sure. Enjoy this great show!
