What is the best way to get to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review from Port Orleans- French Quarter?

Hi Jill! Transportation between the Disney resorts is a bit tricky. There will not be anything direct so you will need to plan extra time when trying to reach a dining reservation located in one of the many resorts on property.

Although Port Orleans French Quarter is very close to Fort Wilderness, you will still need to reach a park or Disney Springs to take the complimentary Disney bus or boat transportation to reach this destination. If you have a car then that will certainly be the fastest and easiest mode.  You would park at the front of this resort and then take the internal bus to head to Pioneer Hall. There is no parking at all at that end of the resort. The internal buses run regularly and it is very easy to use. Using a taxi is also a possibility and you would also be dropped off at the front of the resort and use the internal bus.

If you need to use the Disney buses you can simply wait for the next bus that comes along for the parks or Disney Springs and hop on. When you reach that destination you simply get off and find the Fort Wilderness bus and get on that one. Again, once you reach the resort you will transfer to an internal bus to reach Pioneer Hall. If you catch a bus to the Magic Kingdom then you will head to the entrance and look for the boat that goes to Fort Wilderness. It is located just in front of the park. This is a fun way to give the kids a boat ride while at Disney too.

After the second and third seating of Hoop Dee Doo they will have buses available to take you back to your respective resorts. You share with other resorts but it is very convenient to have transportation right there to return "home" after a great dinner show. Have a "hoot and hollerin" time!
