What is the best way to get to the Grand Floridian for the Princess Tea Party on a Saturday morning from Saratoga Springs? Thanks!

Hi Katie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm happy to hear that you have your stay all set for Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa! One of my favorite features of this Disney Resort hotel is the walkway to Disney Springs. I spend an entire day at Disney Springs on each of our trips and could easily spend more time there enjoying the shopping, dining, activities and entertainment!

For your trip to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for Disney's Perfectly Princess Tea, I recommend taking the complimentary bus transportation from your Disney Resort hotel to Magic Kingdom Park. Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, head to the resort monorail loop. The fourth stop on the resort monorail loop will be at your destination. You will want to leave pretty early to make sure you don't arrive "late for a very important date!" As a general rule, the recommendation is usually to plan for up to 1.5 hours in travel time for transfers and any delays that may come up. If you end up arriving early for your reservation, take some time to explore this beautiful Disney Resort hotel. It is my favorite!

If you don't want to leave as early or deal with the transfer from bus to monorail, check out Minnie Van Service. This adorable mode of transportation can take you directly from one Disney Resort hotel to the other and will definitely cut down considerably on your travel time.

I hope this helps with your planning, Katie! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
